Sometimes I'm very witty with the comic titles.
Sometimes, not so witty. And then there are those that
probably make sense only to me...
As you may have detected, the comic will be taking a
more serious tone for the next few pages. I usually try
to keep these moments of drama to a minimum, or at the
very least intersperse them with lighter stuff... but in
this case, it's not feasible. Where it's not practical
to insert humour, I think it's best not to even try. I
once read a webcomic (the name of which I have
forgotten) in which a character was recalling the
suicide of her father to another character, and the
author would still try to lighten the mood here and
there with a joke. They fell flat, and it felt
really weird. So there you go. Not many jokes for
the next few comics, but I will be taking the
opportunity to delve into some unexplored mysteries
concerning Tryphosa...
Plot: it's what webcomics fall back on when the jokes
run out.
